Triceps Tendon Repair

Rare tears of the elbow extensor.

Triceps ruptures at the elbow or shoulder are rare. Complete tears result in the inability to straighten the arm overhead and usually require repair.

When is surgery needed?

Complete tears require surgical reattachment with anchors.
