Revision ACL Reconstruction
Complex care when a previous surgery has failed.
If a previous ACL surgery failed, simply re-doing it isn't the answer. We analyze WHY it failed: tunnel placement, slope, or biological failure. We use staged procedures and biologics to ensure the second time is the last time.
Symptoms
- Instability after surgery
- Return of pivot shift
- Pain in operated knee
- Limited range of motion
Conservative treatment
- Individual treatment plan following comprehensive assessment, examination, and biomechanical diagnostics
When is surgery needed?
For significant instability, symptoms, or other biomechanical anomalies. Revision reconstruction is often a two-stage procedure combined with LET (Lateral Extra-articular Tenodesis).
