Distal Femoral Osteotomy
Correction of valgus or rotational error of the knees.
Similar to HTO but for 'knock-kneed' (valgus) patients. By correcting the femur's angle, we offload the painful outer compartment. This is also a very important treatment method for some types of patellar instability.
